AWARDS FOR TRANSGENDER:-
A State level Award for the thirunanagaiyar has been instituted since the year 2020 to recognize a transgender who has done eminent work for the welfare of Transgender and who has built their career on their own efforts. The award is felicitated on 15th April, Thirunangaiyar Day, every Year.
